I was planning on making a Top 10-something list to recap all that has happened in my 2015. But as usual, I can’t keep promises. Now I’m starting to hate telling promises. Even I’m not liking the promise/resolution that I’ve made that is the 13(2) Books Challenge. But whatever.
I have experienced a lot of downs—quarter life crisis, financial problems, family problems, intimate problems, lack of balance in time, among other things. But the bigger number of ups made it up for that—exploring new food and places (albeit locally), more laughs with the people I love, a job promotion, new friendships, stronger old relationships, a stronger intimate relationship, new toys to display, new music to enjoy, the fact that I have been living for 25 years and counting, among other things I should be happy about.
Looking back at all of the memories, the year was not so bad. And I look forward to more ups and lesser downs starting today.
Goodbye, 2015. You have been good. And I’m looking forward to a greater 2016. Happy New Year, everyone!
